Touching the heart
    can’t be taught
        in workshops
           where wistful poets
                wish for words
                    of wisdom

Touching the heart
      can’t be learned
         in schools
            with algebra equations
                 scrawled on boards
                     of black boron

Touching the heart
       takes tears tossed
           in anger
              where mother’s dead
                 babies lie sleeping
                     in fresh graves
